THEsystem - Organising Genealogical Information

Heather will present a system she and her "genealogy buddy" sister have devised to store and organise both physical and digital information gathered during their genealogical research, from traditional documentary sources and DNA results.

The design of THEsystem draws on decades of education and experience in computer science and genealogy, and some creative imagination. Their goal was to apply genealogical methodologies and standards to the creation and management of an enduring family research archive that could be shared with collaborators and built upon by future custodians.
